Terms & Conditions

The ground rules for working together. Short where we can be, specific where it matters — and written so a player and a parent can both read them.

[ The short version ]

01

Invitation-only. Acceptance is manual.

02

We develop players. We don’t promise outcomes.

03

Your access code is yours alone

04

Under 18? A guardian agrees first

01

Agreement and eligibility

By applying, using the player tools or taking part in the program, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t apply or use the tools.

playcultured™ is invitation-only. Applications are reviewed manually, and an application doesn’t guarantee a place. We can decline or withdraw an offer at our discretion.

If the player is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read and agree to these terms on their behalf before the player takes part. By agreeing for a player, you confirm you’re their parent or legal guardian and that you’re responsible for their participation.

02

The program

playcultured™ is a 10-week, fully remote cognitive-performance program for footballers. It moves through six stages — diagnose, build the lens, train recognition, transfer, autonomize and compound — and centers on film-based analysis and one-to-one coaching, supported by your Individual Development Plan (IDP).

Exactly what’s included, and the schedule for your cohort, is confirmed in the enrollment confirmation we send when we accept you. We may adjust format, timing and coaching staff where needed, and we’ll tell you if a change is material.

03

Enrollment, fees and refunds

There’s no checkout on this website. If we offer you a place, we’ll send an enrollment confirmation or invoice that sets out the fee, the payment schedule, and any cancellation or refund terms. Those details form part of these terms; if they conflict with anything here, the enrollment confirmation wins.

Applying, or submitting the onboarding questionnaire, doesn’t create a payment obligation on its own.

04

Your responsibilities

  • Answer honestly, in your own words, and keep your details up to date.

  • Complete onboarding and the personality assessment before Week 1, and give the program the time it needs.

  • Only send us film you’re allowed to share, and keep the links working while we need them.

  • Treat staff and other players with respect, in every channel.

  • Train and play safely. The program is analytical and cognitive — not a fitness, medical or rehabilitation program. You (and your guardian) remain responsible for your physical health and for any clearance you need to play.

05

Access codes and player tools

Your personal access code is tied to your IDP. Keep it private: don’t share it or use anyone else’s. Tell us at once if it’s lost or exposed and we’ll issue a new one. The shared password for the onboarding tools is for enrolled players and guardians only.

Don’t try to break, probe or bypass our systems, scrape the site, or access data that isn’t yours. If you find a vulnerability, please email us instead of exploiting it.

06

Equipment

Where your program includes a BeYourBest™ headset, we’ll ship it to the address you give us and, as described on our website, it’s yours to keep after the program ends.

  • Use it as the manufacturer instructs, with a guardian’s supervision for players under 18.

  • If you feel unwell — eye strain, dizziness, headache or discomfort — stop and take a break, and speak to a health professional if symptoms continue.

  • The manufacturer’s own terms and warranty apply to the device; we’re not the manufacturer. BeYourBest™ and other third-party marks belong to their owners.

  • Tell us promptly if it arrives damaged or faulty.

07

No guarantees, no professional advice

We help players see, understand and decide better. We don’t guarantee selection, trials, contracts, playing time or any particular improvement, and results vary with effort, opportunity and factors outside our control. Anything on this site about outcomes describes the program’s aims, not a promise, and any player results we share are individual, not typical.

Our coaching is not medical, psychological, therapeutic or legal advice, and the personality profile is a coaching tool, not a clinical assessment. Please speak to a qualified professional about those needs.

08

Intellectual property and your content

The program — its methodology, curriculum, vocabulary, frameworks, documents, videos, software and website, and the playcultured™ name and marks — belongs to playcultured or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use it for your own development.

  • Don’t copy, publish, resell, sublicense or teach the program to others, or load it into systems built to reproduce it.

  • Your IDP is yours to keep and to share with your family, club and coaches. The methodology behind it stays ours.

You keep ownership of your film, responses and other content, and you give us permission to use them to deliver the program. We won’t use your name, image, film or results in marketing without separate written permission — from a guardian, for players under 18.

09

Confidentiality and recordings

We treat what you tell us as confidential and handle it as our Privacy Policy describes. In return, keep the program’s materials and other participants’ information confidential.

We may record video sessions for coaching review. We’ll tell you before we do, and we never publish recordings.

10

Safeguarding and conduct

Because our players are young, all communication with them is professional and runs through channels agreed with the player and their guardian. Guardians are welcome to ask to see a player’s plan and to be included in communications.

If you have a concern about a player’s welfare or about a member of our team, email us straight away. We may share information where necessary to protect a young person from harm, as described in our Privacy Policy. We can pause or end participation for abusive behavior, sharing access codes, or breaking these terms.

11

Website and tools

The website and player tools are provided “as is”. We work to keep them available and accurate, but we can’t promise they’ll always be uninterrupted or error-free, and they rely on third-party services (such as Google, Framer and Vercel) that we don’t control. We may change, suspend or remove features. Links to third-party sites are for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content.

12

Limits of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, playcultured™ isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost opportunities such as trials, selection, contracts or earnings, and players train and play at their own risk. Our total liability in connection with the program is limited to the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

13

Changes, suspension and ending

We may update these terms as the program evolves. We’ll change the date above and email enrolled players and guardians about material changes before they apply. Continuing after a change means you accept it.

You can withdraw at any time by emailing us; any refund depends on your enrollment confirmation. We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as intellectual property, confidentiality and liability — do.

14

Disputes and general

If something goes wrong, email us first. We’ll aim to respond within 30 days and work it out in good faith. Governing law, and where disputes are heard, are set out in your enrollment confirmation.

These terms, your enrollment confirmation and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stays in force; if we don’t enforce something straight away, we haven’t waived it; and you may not transfer your place to someone else.
